From zero organic traffic to cited by Google’s AI in four months
Liquid Concepts is a licensed Fort Myers pool contractor with three generations of reputation behind it, and a website Google could not find a reason to rank. Not low organic traffic. None.
Four months after the new site launched, it holds 31 page-one rankings and is cited by name inside Google’s AI Overview. Here is what the local SEO work involved.

Cited inside Google’s AI Overview, twice
A search for “salt water pool conversion Fort Myers” returns an AI Overview that cites Liquid Concepts as a source twice, and places the company at the top of the web results panel, above A&E Pools and bahamapool.com.

Screenshot captured August 2026. The two source chips reading “Liquid Concepts Pool Ser...” sit inside the AI answer itself. The panel on the right is the accompanying web results list.
Where they started
A real reputation, and a website Google ignored
A licensed pool contractor with three generations of trade behind it, and an audit score of 24 out of 100.
That combination is why a refresh was not enough. We started from scratch: full keyword research, mapped page by page, before a single page of content was written.

Zero organic traffic
No sessions from search, for any keyword. The only way a customer found the site was by already knowing the address.
Wrong GBP category
The Google Business Profile was filed under the wrong primary category, so Google was not considering the listing for the searches that drive pool service calls in Fort Myers.
URL-only discovery
No targeted keyword ranked anywhere, which left word of mouth doing all of the work a website should have been doing.
The audit
24 out of 100, to 93 out of 100
Our own audit score for the site, before the rebuild and four months after it. The lighter bar is the starting position.
Page Speed is the one component still well short of full marks, at 2 of 5. It is the next piece of work rather than a finished result.
Four months, in numbers
Measured from launch, not from signup
The new site went live on 8 April 2026. Every figure below is measured from that date.
The market
Closing the gap on the market leader
Weekly visibility tracking against three established Fort Myers pool companies. Liquid Concepts is not top yet. Four months in, from zero, it is second.

What we actually did
Six workstreams, run together
Nothing was siloed. Every task pointed at the same mapped keywords, which is why four months was enough to go from nothing to a page-one presence.
Keyword mapping first
Every target term scored by search demand and difficulty, and mapped to a specific page, before a word of copy was written.
Interview-driven content
Site copy built from a real conversation with the owner, not templated pool-company boilerplate.
GBP optimization and posting
A full profile rebuild, starting with the primary category that had been wrong, plus a consistent posting cadence to keep the listing active.
Citations and backlinks
Domain authority built from a standing start: 41 referring domains to 473 in four months.
Ongoing blog content
Posts built around the questions Fort Myers pool owners actually search for.
Answer engine optimization
Content structured so AI search tools can find and cite Liquid Concepts directly, rather than only ranking the page. The AI Overview above is that work showing up.
In the client’s words
“Before Polaris came in, I had effectively no online presence. Once the website was live, my company steadily rose in the Google rankings. I am currently number one on several searches using AI search technology, and hitting page one on other search engines. After three to four months, the phone is ringing much more with qualified leads that are turning into closed business. I believe we are on the verge of a major breakthrough, and I look forward to a long, profitable relationship with Polaris.”
